- Try: score
- Conversion: extra 2 points after scoring try (via kick)
- Knock On: ball fumbled/dropped & moves forward
- Scrum: after knock on opposing teams is awarded the ball
- Lineout: ball goes over the touch line
- Ruck: formation used to maintain possession of the ball
- Pitch: field
- Touch: out of bounds line
- Breakdown: tackle is happening
